Objectives

The trainees who successfully complete this course will be able to control crowd in emergency situation, to locate essential safety and emergency equipment on board, to communicate effectively with passenger and comply with ship’s safety and emergency procedures, to organise the safe movement passengers when embarking and disembarking, organize emergency procedures, optimize use of resources, control passengers and other personnel during emergency, establish and maintain effective communications.   

Target group  

The course is aimed at masters, officers, ratings and other personnel on passenger ships.

Entry standards 

No any special requirements.

IMO Model Course 1.41 “Passenger ship Crowd Management training”

IMO Model Course 1.42 “Passenger ship Crisis Management and Human Behavior training”

IMO Model Course 1.44 “Safety Training for personnel providing direct services to passengers in passenger spaces”

Duration 

Full course: 32.5 hours / 3 day. 

Refresh course: 9.5 hours / 1 day.
