Objectives |
The trainees who successfully complete this course will be competent to understand the fishing methods and associated fishing gear and to safely engage in fishing operation under the supervision of an experienced deckhand. |
Target group |
The course is aimed at all fishing vessel personnel that are to serve on board sea-going fishing vessels |
Entry standards |
Certificate, confirmed that candidate passed training courses in accordance with the provisions of Regulation VI/1 of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW-78) as amended, and Section A-VI/1 of STCW Code (Basic Safety). |
