MARITIME TRAINING CENTRE
Novikontas Maritime Training Centre (Jūrininkų Treniruočių Centras) in Klaipeda provides training since 1996. We offer a wide range of training courses for seafarers in accordance with the provisions of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), 1978, as amended, and the legislation of Lithuanian Maritime Safety Administration.
Maritime Training Centre is a full member of International Association of Safety and Survival Training (IASST) since 2003 and International Maritime Simulator Forum (IMSF) since 2005.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Quality Management System certified by Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI) in accordance with International Quality Standard ISO-9001 since 1997. Scope of certification is „Development of training programs and providing training for seafarers in accordance with the requirements of STCW and legislation of the Republic of Lithuania“.

The Quality Policy of Novikontas Maritime Training Centre is to establish the training process with the qualified instructors and assessors, who have the individual approach to every trainee, as well as modern technical facilities to ensure a training process meets the requirements of International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), 1978, as amended, Directive 2008/106/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the minimum level of training of seafarers and Maritime legislation regarding Training and Certification of Seafarers of Republic of Lithuania, and requirements and expectations of ship owners or their representatives and trainees
