IRATA Rope Access Technician Level 3

 

Approval

IRATA Rope Access Technician (Level 3) training course is provided by International Training Centre (ITC) of Gridins Group – IRATA Full Trainer.

Objectives

A trainee successfully completing the course and passing the examination will be able to understand and implement the rope access procedures, method statements and associated risk assessments, and:

  • demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of Levels 1 and 2;

  • understand the elements and principles of IRATA International’s safe system of work;

  • be conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation;

  • have an extensive knowledge of advanced rope access rigging and rescue techniques;

Target group

This training course is intended for Level 2 Rope access technicians wishing to upgrade to Level 3.

Entry standards

  • at least 18 years of age;

  • medical fitness certificate confirming their suitability for work at heights;

  • valid IRATA Rope Access Level 2 certificate;

  • at least 1 years’ experience and 1000 working hours recorded and signed off in the logbook

  • First Aid training certificate

30 hours / 4 days + 1 day exam
