IRATA Rope Access Technician Level 2

 

Approval

IRATA Rope Access Technician (Level 2) training course is provided by International Training Centre (ITC) of Gridins Group – IRATA Full Trainer.

Objectives

A trainee successfully completing the course and passing the examination will be able to perform complex tasks under the supervision of a Level 3 rope access safety supervisor. He/she will be:

  • able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of Level 1;

  • capable of complex rigging, including re-belays, deviations and tensioned lines;

  • able to undertake rescues from a variety of situations;

  • able to assemble and implement hauling systems.

Target group

This training course is intended for Level 1 Rope access technicians wishing to upgrade to Level 2.

Entry standards

  • at least 18 years of age;

  • medical fitness certificate confirming their suitability for work at heights;

  • valid IRATA Rope Access Level 1 certificate;

  • at least 1 years’ experience and 1000 working hours recorded and signed off in the logbook

Duration

30 hours / 4 days + 1 day exam
